On the day entries incur an additional $20-$30 fee to cover administration charges

Entries may close with out notice when the event is full. When the event is sold out a notice will be posted on the Tre-X Website 'Enter' page and 'News' page.

TRIATHLON AUSTRALIA DAY LICENSE

The Australian Cross-Triathlon Championships and Tre-X Events are sanctioned by the sports governing body, Triathlon Australia. Participants who are not a member of Triathlon Australia will be required to purchase a Day License which is approximately 15% of the Entry Fee for the events and covers competitors insurance.

To avoid having to pay the addition day license fee participants can choose to become a member of Triathlon Australia which as well as giving you a discounted event entry offers the following benefits:

MINIMUM AGE AUSTRALIAN CROSS TRIATHLON CHAMPS

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Individual: Participants must be at least 15 years of age on the 31/12/12
Australian Championship Medals: In accordance with ITU guidelines Australian Championship Medals will be awarded to competitors aged 18years and over
Team: Participants must be at least 14 years of age and it must be a 3 person team with each person completing one discipline.

SPRINT DISTANCE:
Individual: Participants must be at least 13 years of age on the 31/12/12
Team: Participants must be at least 12 years of age and it must be a 3 person team with each person completing one discipline.

JUNIOR EVENT :
Individual: Participants must be at least 10 years of age on the 31/12/12
Team: Participants must be at least 7 years of age and it must be a 3 person team with each person completing one discipline.

DIRT KIDS:
Individual & Team: Participants must be 7 to 10 years of age on the day of the event.
This is a non-competitive event.

Minimum ages are based on maximim distances outlined by the ITU guidelines.

Competitors under 18 years of age

ENTRY CONDITIONS
  • All competitors must complete the on line entry form, pay the entry fee and agree to the terms and conditions before their entry is accepted.
  • In 2 Adventure reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant to any event without explanation.
  • Entry fees & registrations are non-transferable from one competitor to another or from one event to another.  It is forbidden to participate in an event under another competitor’s registration, without notifying the organisers. Competitors that do not obey this rule waive all insurance coverage & put other competitors at risk.
  • All licensed competitors must include their license numbers when registering to avoid being charged the unlicensed rate.
  • Compeitors must bring a paper copy of thier entry invoice to registration to avoid being charged the event entry fee in the unlikely event where the entry has not registered.

Where an event has sold out entries may close without notice. A notification will appear on the Tre-X website on the entries page.
